Tune into the Frequency of Gratitude

I used to be really bothered when people were overly positive. Stay away from me with your bullshit happy go lucky shit. It's impossible to be positive all the time; there are way too many variables that can and will get in the way, but I found the proverbial silver lining. 

A nine letter word. Rhymes with attitude.


1. the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.
The secret? When upset, angry, flustered, negative, anxious, nervous, etc. Focus on returning to kindness. Turn the negative into a positive. You can't? Find the balance. Balance isn't suppose to be easy. You go up, you go down. You're job is to find the equilibrium. There is no happy go lucky shit here. You need to put in some effort. It takes work. It takes discipline to change your inner engineering that veers to anxiety before gratitude. Your mind wants you to hurt. Change that to:
I'm grateful. For bonus points make up reasons as to why are you thankful.
I'm thankful. I'm appreciative. Make up reasons as to why you are these things.
